Description
This is key member of Engineering leadership team who will be instrumental in driving overall Quality for the MyBuys personalization suite of products. We’re looking for someone with a passion for Quality Assurance, and a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of QA Engineers maintain and improve our record of a high quality service our clients can rely on. Domain experience with Display Advertising and/or Behavioral Targeting will enable you to hit the ground running.

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Ownership of the overall product quality for the MyBuys
• Define QA strategy including automation, regression and performance
• Lead by example; this is a hands on role, and your are expected to dive right in with the team doing hands-on black box and white box testing
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test specifications
• Collaborate with the development team on test tool development, performance optimization, debugging and problem isolation
• Define and track QA metrics including code coverage, quality & performance
• Advocate for customer satisfaction, QA processes, and continuous improvement
• Document and implement QA standards, processes & methodology
• Manage and mentor a small but talented QA team

The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing a team testing Java based multi-tenant applications in either the behavior targeting Display Advertising space. You are very detail oriented, and have a passion for testing, a high degree of self motivation and an ability to motivate your team effectively.

Prerequisites
Requires a B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science
Startup Experience required

Requirements

• 4+ years managing QA Engineers; excellent leadership & management skills with ability to scale with the rapid growth of MyBuys
• 10+ years testing Java applications. Prefer candidates with experience testing very high volume multi-tenant applications with a large component of back end analytics and data processing, distributed systems (e.g. Hadoop)
• Deep domain experience in Display Advertising or Behavioral Targeting
• Proficient with Oracle & PL/SQL; experience doing data quality testing
• Working experience with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, XML, and Http)
• Proficiency in Unix environments and shell scripting
• Solid understanding of Oracle & PL/SQL and experience doing data quality testing
• Proficient with Ant, Subversion, Maven, JIRA/Bugzilla
• Proven ability to communicate ideas effectively in both oral and written forms
